Approved SRD grants can be deposited directly into beneficiaries’ bank accounts or collected from designated payment points, including ATMs, Pick n Pay, Checkers, Shoprite, and Boxer stores. SASSA assures beneficiaries that funds remain secure in their accounts until withdrawn, and recipients are not required to withdraw the money immediately upon deposit.
Please note that the SRD grant amount has been increased to R370 from April 2024, and this adjustment remains in effect for SRD grant payments through 2025.
