Responsibilities:

Good customer service;

The delivery and pick-up of various supplies from customers and suppliers;

Assisting with the receipt and control of supplies;

Daily vehicle inspection;

Assisting with the stocking and packing of supplies on the shelves in the store; and

Taking responsibility for commercial vehicle(s) in terms of cleanliness, roadworthiness, and adhering to traffic rules and regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Grade 12 / St. 10;

Code EC1 driver’s license with a valid PDP (compulsory);

Thorough knowledge of the geographical area;

Good interpersonal skills;

Safety-conscious and cautious by nature, honest, able to take responsibility, and 100% reliable;

Must be able to work under pressure;

Physically able to pick up and carry items of 50 kg;

Must not be allergic to dust;

Ability to work in a team;

Must be willing to work overtime if required;

Must be willing to work every alternate weekend; and

Access to reliable transportation to ensure punctuality.

This position is based in Alexandria. A market-related remuneration package is offered. Please indicate clearly the reference number D080025 on your application.
