SASSA Announces June 2026 SRD Payment Dates and WhatsApp Self-Service Channel

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has confirmed that COVID-19 SRD grant payments for June 2026 will be made between 24 and 25 June 2026.

Beneficiaries are encouraged to check their payment status and ensure that their personal details are up to date.

In addition, SASSA has introduced a WhatsApp Self-Service Channel to make it easier for SRD beneficiaries to access important information without visiting a SASSA office or calling the Call Centre.

Through this automated service, beneficiaries can conveniently obtain key information about their grants directly on WhatsApp.
